For three years after leaving office in disgrace after the infamous Watergate scandal, ex-President Richard M Nixon remained silent. But in 1977, he finally agreed to an interview to confront the questions of his time in office, including Watergate. Nixon surprised everyone in selecting the jet-setting TV presenter David Frost as his interviewer, planning to easily outsmart the lightweight showman and secure a place in the hearts and minds of Americans. As cameras rolled, a true battle of wits resulted. Would Nixon evade? Would Frost fold? Over the course of their encounter, each man would reveal his own insecurities, ego and reserves of dignityultimately setting the stage for a stunning display of unvarnished truth.

Frost/Nixon not only re-creates the interview, but the weeks of globe-trotting maneuvering between the two men as deals were made and secrets revealedall leading to the moment when they would sit face to face and surprise the world.
