Cadillac Records is a period piece that chronicles the rise and fall of influential R&B record label Chess Records. Chess Records was a music record label based in Chicago that specialized in blues, R&B, gospel, early Rock & Roll and some jazz during the 1950's & 60's. Run by brothers Phil and Leonard Chess, the company produced and released many important singles and albums from Etta James, Muddy Waters & Chuck Barry.
The film stars Beyonce as Etta James and co-stars with Adrien Brody, Jeffrey Wright and Mos Def and this double CD captures all the magic of the film including tracks by Beyonce.
