Wine Tasting Tour

On the day of your wine tasting tour, we’ll collect you from your Queenstown accommodation and our experienced tour guide will escort you from Queenstown into the wine country of the scenic Wakatipu region for a relaxed and leisurely afternoon. We offer an in depth introduction to a selection of Queenstown's award winning wineries, time for an optional lunch (at your own expense) and the opportunity to experience wine tastings in a unique wine cave. At each of the four vineyards you'll meet a member of the vineyard for a close up perspective of their wines, including a tasting. Our experienced team and close relationship with the wineries means we guarantee to give you a fun, informative, friendly and personalised tour, no matter if your palate is well developed or simply enthusiastic, as long as you love wine, our wine tours are sure to delight! There are several vineyards in the Queenstown region and we choose the best vineyard combinations to provide an unhurried tour. The vineyards are at high altitude and subject to cold winters, hot dry summers and a huge night to day temperature range. Such adversity had led to pioneering wine-making, consistently superb wines, worldwide recognition and a plethora of international awards. The area has become especially well know for its award-winning Pinot Noir. Other local specialities include Riesling, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Methode Traditional. The travelling time is kept to a minimum, the pace is relaxed and the wine is always superb!
